UAG’s new Flagstaff Hill tower soars 26 levels to absorb the stunning views across Melbourne CBD’s highest point; Flagstaff Gardens. The Podium of the tower is crafted in bluestone with extensive native planting enhancing the streetscape. The vivid green of the Cycads create a lush, natural complement to the strong bluestone and black steel palette. The Residential arrival journey continues the Melbourne gardens theme with extensive indoor planting set against sculptural circular mail rooms, sweeping lobby walls, a cascading water-wall feature and a lounge niche carved into the ground floor to create a unique welcoming experience for the residents. Podium amenities include a lounge room, dining room and kitchen, spa and change rooms adjacent to the Level 6 garden terrace, creating a wide variety of outdoor and outdoor common area retreats for the residents. The crown of the tower rotates the penthouse floorplates to the west; revealing a sunlit breakout terrace for the Level 21 gymnasium. The top three floors feature a bold cantilever design, giving the occupants a sense of floating above Melbourne City. Rooftop gardens are covered with an extensive solar array mounted on the rooftop parasol, screening the building plant to “complete” the fifth facade of the Tower.
